I. The Soul Navigator Beneath the Starry Sky

When the waves of the Aegean kiss the reefs of Crete in Greece, when the moonlight of the Two Rivers Valley falls upon the broken ruins of Babylon, at the intersection of Eastern and Western civilizations, a star named poetry cuts across the night sky.
Lan Xin, hailed as “The Helmsman of Souls” by the Greek magazine Polis, carves eternal coordinates on the spiritual star map of humanity with the ancient wisdom of Dongba scriptures and the clarity of modern verses.
Standing above the clouds of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, she transforms the millennial codes of the Naxi Dongba culture into ten-mile scrolls guiding spiritual return in her work The Path Approaching Divinity. As the chant echoes across the plateau three thousand meters above sea level, the divine patterns and sacred spirits engraved on the Dongba Divine Path Scroll awaken beneath her brush, interpreting the clear principles of good and evil and karmic order.
This is not only the philosophy of life and death of the ancient Naxi ancestors, but also a poetic inquiry into the spiritual home of all mankind.

II. Civilization Dialogue Between Verses

In her poem Light of Universal Peace, the sacred Jiaruoluo Divine Mountain walks out from the scriptures of Genesis, turning into boundless radiance shining upon the mortal world.
When the famous Greek poet Eva Petropoulou Lianou’s famous motto Nothing Belongs to Anyone was translated into Chinese, Lan Xin wrote amid the waves of the Aegean with the sacred stone imagery of Dongba culture Zheng Zhen Han Lu Mei: All one’s life, everyone seeks the sacred mountain in their heart, and the sacred mountain dwells within every sacred soul.
This spiritual dialogue crossing the Himalayas reaches its climax in Earthly Paradise — Shangri-La. The snow mountains and meadows of northwest Yunnan, together with the olive trees and blue-domed churches along the Mediterranean, weave together the shared spiritual homeland of humanity in her poems.
When the chief editor of the Iraqi international journal Almanar marveled at the Arabic translation of “Shangri-La”, what they touched was not merely the warmth of words, but the eternal pulse of mutual learning between civilizations.
In Suffering, the Most Beautiful Medal of Life, Lan Xin elevates the ancient Chinese wisdom Loss is Blessing into a universal life philosophy: Those who bring you losses need no personal punishment from you. Every cause has its corresponding effect, and heaven has its own arrangement.
Her open mind beyond personal gratitude and grudges forms a wonderful resonance with the irresistible fate depicted in Greek tragedies. When the international Boundless Love Poetry Festival awarded her the laurel of Messenger of Light, the judges witnessed not only her poetic talent, but also the spiritual radiance of a nation blooming amid hardships.
As Turkish writer Nurduran Duman commented: Lan Xin’s novels guide you to discover the secrets of love and beauty, while her poetry directly opens the secret chamber of your soul.

III. The Dual Mission of a Cultural Messenger

As an inheritor breaking the ancient inheritance rules of the World Memory Heritage — Dongba Culture, Lan Xin has accomplished a quiet yet great cultural revolution at the Jade Dragon Wenbi Dongba Culture Academy in Lijiang.
She transforms the sacred stone legends recorded in Dongba scriptures into imagery of modern poetry.
Such innovation is never betrayal of tradition, but a rebirth of millennial cultural genes in the contemporary era.
She devotes herself to translating the three great epics of Dongba culture, converting obscure ancient Dongba classics into plain and accessible words, enabling Dongba culture to step out of ancient scriptures and embrace the public. Meanwhile, she dedicates herself to creating monographs interpreting Dongba culture. With universal and plain language, she lifts the mysterious veil of ancient millennial classics and breaks the fixed public impression that Dongba culture is obscure and hard to understand.
She decodes and interprets one by one the high-dimensional cosmic outlook, natural spiritual outlook, reincarnation outlook of life and death, and the universal philosophy of fraternal love hidden in ancient documents and secret scrolls. She enables the profound Dongba wisdom sealed in ancient classics to cast off obscure barriers and turn into earthly truths that the world can understand, resonate with and comprehend. She not only preserves the purest original core of Dongba culture, but also completes the perfect interpretation and gentle transformation of ancient civilization adapting to contemporary context.
In her acceptance speech for the Italian Francesco Giampietri International Literature Award, Lan Xin said: True cultural communication never means imposing the East upon the West, nor letting the West assimilate the East. It lies in finding the shared spiritual code of humanity while maintaining respective cultural characteristics.
This philosophy is perfectly embodied in her poem Empathy Through Love: Love is the light of the universe, the source of life, the chain of time and space. When we empathize with all beings through love, respect differences while pursuing common ground, what we give to the world will eventually return to ourselves.
This great love philosophy transcending national borders and cultural differences has become the core reason why she was honored by the Global Leadership & High IQ Federation.

IV. Phoenix Rebirth, Poetic Heart Homeward

In her internationally widely-circulated poem Whispers of the Ancient Phoenix Tree, Lan Xin depicts the millennial companionship between ancient trees and phoenixes, presenting a touching confession: Through the alternation of four seasons and the unpredictability of the mortal world, we witness the rise and fall of ancient temples and all the vicissitudes of time, yet our guardianship never wavers for a single moment. Even if ancient palaces decay and collapse, we still firmly believe that the phoenix will eventually descend amid eternal radiance and reunite with us after thousands of years.
Is this not exactly a portrayal of her own life?
She is just like the golden-glowing phoenix in her verses, recognizing this silent land amid desolation and ruins, reshaping the millennial elegance amid broken walls, and making this sacred land famous all over the world through the dust of years.
Endowed with the spiritual aura of Hunan land and the gentle warmth of snow mountain ancient city, she revives the continuous heritage of Dongba culture from decline and silence, winning a solid position for Eastern philosophy in the world literary arena across the long river of time. Her perseverance stands as steady as ancient millennial trees; her return and radiance shine upon the mortal world just like the nirvana of the phoenix.
On this blue planet, when artificial intelligence begins to create poetry and virtual reality blurs the boundary between reality and illusion, on the 2026 United Nations World Poetry Day, Lan Xin still dips her brush in the melted snow of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and writes on ancient Dongba paper: All Things Bear Poetry, The World Is Filled With Light.
This is the most affectionate confession of a poet toward the times.
