I wrote this treatise seven years, before I became acquainted with the hypotheses of Sir Roger Penrose, the great physicist of our time. I am glad that our ideas and thoughts coincided completely.
On the Nature of the Universe
1.
Not everything we see really exists. Not everything that truly exists can be seen. Every night we observe the light of stars, many of which went out millions of years ago. And even if they haven’t gone out, they are now completely different from where we see them. Something else now occupies their place: it also shines, but we will never see the light being born there now. The real is elusive, the elusive is real.
2.
The interval between the past and the future cannot be measured. Even the smallest measurable interval of time is divided in half: one half contains the past, the other the future. The present is a cloud in which there is no clear division between past and future. There is no clear vector of direction; the present is neither a reference point nor a boundary, but a cloud of vibration where the division of time into past and future has not yet occurred. Any location on this cloud can be defined as being either in the past or in the future.
3.
In classical physics, there is the concept of an infinitesimal quantity, in this case an infinitesimal interval of time and an infinitesimal shift in coordinates. The uncertainty principle states that there is no such thing as an infinitesimal. Instead, there is a boundary defined by Planck’s constant, beyond which it is impossible to obtain precise information. This boundary separates a world in which information exists from a world in which only future probabilities exist.
4.
Max Planck’s constant is a boundary below which there are no definite coordinates of points or definite states of time; there are only places of spatial vibration and temporal oscillations that have no definite direction or reference. In a world of quantities smaller than Planck’s constant, space and time consist of uncertainties in the location of everything that exists in space and time.
5.
The elementary particles that make up everything in our world are not of a corpuscular-wave nature, but are instead sites of spatial vibration. Essentially, they are not points or waves, but microscopic clouds of vibration. Sites of vibration do not and cannot have specific, precise physical coordinates. The coordinates of sites of vibration are always approximate: both in space and in time.
6.
The world exists in a state of uncertainty, and it is only because of this property that it exists. A site of vibration has no defined spatio-temporal coordinates. A vibration field does not dissolve in space; it exists simultaneously at any point, varying solely by the energy of its impact. This energy may be minimal, but it is not zero; it is a minimum, with no limits to either its minimum or maximum. Energy fields vibrating indefinitely form the basis of our world. Near and far, large and small, long and short – these have no definite magnitude and are possibly capable of changing places without affecting their essence.
Every single point of existence, in a natural state of vibration, simultaneously exists at different points in time and space.
LITERATURE AS A SOURCE OF SPIRITUAL BEING
I once wrote: “Man, as the source of spiritual being, is the primary cause of the starry sky.” From the source of spiritual being emanates the light of spirituality contained in the Word, just as from the source of light emanates light destined for perception by all the senses of other beings capable of perceiving the world. For as long as we exist and recognize ourselves as human beings, we continually ask ourselves the same question: why do we live if the end of every life is death and nonexistence? What is the meaning of life if every life ultimately ends, vanishing once and for all? This is true unless you are the source of spiritual being. Consider the stars. Their light, spreading throughout the universe, is capable of being perceived by our senses across any abyss of time. The star no longer exists, nor does the galaxy in which it once existed, but light continues to rush to an unknown destination in boundless space! Light is alive. Light has no shadow, just as there is no death.
Recently, physics professor Vitaly Vanchurin made a discovery: the entire world is a neural network, and humans are not the pinnacle of evolution. It is generally accepted that the Universe strives for entropy. However, this pursuit of disorder somehow leads not to simplification, but to the constant complication of the Universe. Some algorithm or energy of the Universe learns and makes the world increasingly complex. Matter, teaching itself, has begun to transform from inanimate to animate. Quantum physicists believe that the term “living” can be applied to everything in the Universe—rocks, stars, everything. Nothing inanimate exists in the world. The Universe evolves to understand itself. The scientist’s reflections conclude as follows: “Until relatively recently, physics painted us a boring world. Length, width, height, linear time. Then time turned out to be relative, and space curved. Then it was revealed that nothing around us is definite and precisely fixed. Today we understand that the world is actually even more fantastical; more than science fiction writers can imagine…”
Regarding another intelligence in the Universe: this intelligence has existed on Earth for billions of years, but does not possess anthropomorphic features. This Intelligence is water. It is inside us and outside us. It exists in gaseous, liquid, and solid states. It pours on us and falls as snow. We drink it. We walk and drive on it. We cannot exist without it. It has memory and feelings. It does not require nutrition. It can be evaporated, but it will return. Divided into tiny droplets, it can reunite at any convenient moment and form a single global ocean. At the beginning of the Bible it says, “Now the earth was formless and void, and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.” The Spirit of God is upon the face of the waters. Literature, creativity in general, and culture—as the source of spiritual existence—are our salvation.
A tale about how a grandfather cured a hare and stayed with him…
A hare hopped through the forests and fields. A healthy one. Hop-hop. Hop-hop. Hop-hop. And when he’d hopped long enough, he fell ill. Either the rain fell on him, or the snow piled up: his long-legged majesty got soaked, shivered through, and fell ill. Long-eared, he lies sick in his bast hut. Knock-knock! Who’s there? Has the girl with the scythe really come? You yourself are the scythe! It’s me, the bearded grandfather, come to treat you with a bath whisk and herbal infusions. Grandfather cured the hare without even asking for a thank you. Live your life, hare, hop as much as you want, I’m going home now! And the fox is already standing at the threshold, waiting for the old man to leave, plotting something nasty. Grandfather, don’t go! Sit with me, tell me a story, stay and live, it’s more fun together! The grandfather looked at the fox, thought for a moment, and stayed to live with the hare so that no one would dare to harm him.
A Song About Happiness
Happiness is joy,
happiness is a dream,
Happiness was invented by some amazing Edison!
You can drink happiness,
you can eat happiness,
And a person can never get tired of it!
Happiness is singing and crying,
running along a pond,
Or just having some water in the faucet!
Happiness is hearing a friend,
seeing the world,
And also when you have a ticket somewhere in your pocket…
Happiness is when you love,
happiness is when you wait,
Even if everything is lost, happiness is that you’re alive!
Happiness is happiness,
happiness is awesome!
It will never end for any of us!
