Johan: Hi, this is Johan! Thank you for the interview! Well, you could say that we are Finnish Melodic Metal from Gothenburg, Sweden!
When did you start as a band?
Johan: The foundation was set in 2023 but it wasn’t till 2024 that we became a band for real with the current line-up.
What is your first musical memory?
Johan: It must be when I saw Kiss as a small kid on TV in the Mid 90s. I still love them to this day!
Who are the members of the band?
Johan: The band consists of
Johan Bergman – guitars
Alicke Kostopoulou – vocals
Olle Bengtsson – drums
Jonathan Strand – bass
Daniel Lyngstaa Larsson – keyboards
We all are involved in different bands and have released albums and toured around Europe for years.
Describe to us your career in music to date. Were there any decisive positive or negative influences?
Alicke: Hello from me too, it is a pleasure to be a part of this interview! Up to now, we have released our EP ”Ground turns to dust”, our music videos ”A Shattered Heart” and our latest one, was ”Betrayal” via Art Gates Records’ official Youtube Channel. The band is quite new you see. But we have great things coming! There are always positive and negative influences or outcomes whatever you do. Luckily, we have mostly had positive influences!
Are you “scared” by success or failure?
Alicke: Well, failure is a way to learn and move on, so basically nothing can scare us in that sense. We will keep on moving forward in any case!
Tell us a few words about your latest release.
Alicke: It is a quite dark but melodic album with catchy choruses and choirs! The lyrics debate often about deep feelings and situations in life and many of the lyrics have a symbolic meaning.
Who edits the lyrics and music?
Alicke: The lyrics are mostly my part, as well as the vocal melodies. Johan has composed all the music for our debut album.
What are your future music plans?
Alicke: We have a couple of festivals booked for next year and hopefully even more shows will be booked. It is now official also, that we have signed with Art Gates Records and there are plans for more music videos and many many more surprises, among releasing our debut album quite soon!
