Adversity, the Finest Medal of Life

Dear one
In every moment of suffering
welong to break free
from pain and hardship

Only later do we understand
it is those very struggles
that forge us into strength

Adversity
is the chapter of life
from which we draw the deepest power

A life without hardship
is pale and empty
Those who stand strong through suffering
will achieve greatness

Dear one
An ancient saying tells us
to lose is to gain

When we face loss
it is hard to understand
hard to let go

But when we truly release
wfwill see
the universe compensates us
many times over

Those who wrong you
need not be punished by you
karma runs its course
heaven holds the plan

We need only
grow through every trial
improve ourselves through every lesson
and always believe:

What you do is seen by heaven
good and evil will find their reward
and all things
work together for the best

Adversity nourishes the heart
Loss accumulates blessing
All that you have endured
will become
the most precious gifts of life
