Poems for the International Anthology: Peace for Palestine
WAR
Echoes of Broken Skies
The skies weep smoke,
Children clutch shattered dreams.
Bullets hum lullabies of fear,
Homes crumble beneath the weight of silence.
The world watches, mute,
While hearts bleed in the rubble,
And every cry echoes across borders,
A testament to the cruelty of war.
PEACE
Threads of Light
A gentle wind whispers through olive trees,
Hands once clenched now intertwine.
Laughter rises where tears fell,
Walls crumble, bridges form.
Hope blooms in quiet hearts,
And the song of peace resounds—
Not as a dream, but a promise,
Binding the world in radiant light.
