Upon its successful launching back in 2018 and the vote of confidence of over 12.000 visitors from 22 countries, Art Thessaloniki Fair has been established as the most important event of North-Eastern Europe. Organized by the National Agency for the Organization of Exhibitions, Congresses and Cultural Events (TIF-HELEXPO) and the Art Director Pantelis Tsatsis the 4th Art Thessaloniki Fair take place at pavilions 10, 9 and 8.
The fair aims to invest in the strategically important geographic location of Thessaloniki, its multicultural identity and its rich and long history. Thessaloniki’s history spans some 2300 years. The city was named after the celebration of the victory (Niki) of the Macedonian King Filippos, (father of Alexander the Great), against the Thessaly, a neighboring state. Thessaloniki was an important metropolis by the Roman period and the second largest city of the Byzantine Empire. It is home of numerous notable Byzantine monuments, several Roman Ottoman and Israeli structures. Worldwide known Mount Athos with its famous Monasteries, Mount Olympus, home of the ancient Greek Gods, Vergina Archeological Museum (Royal Tomps) and Amphipolis are at one hour distance from Thessaloniki.
Thessaloniki constitutes one of the safest cities in the world functioning as a popular tourist destination and festival city holding several events each year and having an intense cultural life. In 2013 National Geographic magazine included Thessaloniki as one of the top tourist destinations worldwide while the Financial Times FDI declared Thessaloniki in 2014 as the best medium sized city of the future in the world in regards to human resources and life style. The same year Thessaloniki was also declared as the European youth capital.

For the 2nd time on Friday morning the exhibition welcome and give guided tours to middle and high school students, aiming to inform the new generation about culture and art.
For the 1st time we are establishing one 1st prize for 15 new artists up to the age of 34 years after a committee evaluation that will exhibit their work for free in individual booths.
Art Thessaloniki Fair closely cooperates with MOMus, the International Film Festival of Thessaloniki and other bodies of the city.
TIF-HELEXPO is in the center of Thessaloniki and very closed to Macedonian airport .
There is VIP Lounge, Press Office, Art Shop, Dining areas, a Projection and Conference Room, Free Parking, Free WiFi and 24 hour security available for the public, in an attempt to offer a pleasant and relaxed stay at our premises.

Μετά τις επιτυχημένες διοργανώσεις και την ψήφο εμπιστοσύνης των 10.000 και πλέον επισκεπτών από 22 χώρες, σε κάθε διοργάνωση, η Art Thessaloniki Fair έχει καθιερωθεί ως την σημαντικότερη διοργάνωση στο ΝΑ της Ευρώπης. Είναι έτοιμη να ξαναφέρει το ευρύτερο κοινό στα περίπτερα 10, 9 και 8 της ΔΕΘ HELEXPO, την Πέμπτη 21-24 Νοεμβρίου2019 με γκαλερί από περισσότερες χώρες με στόχο την ποιοτική αναβάθμιση της.

Για το 2019 η 4η Art Thessaloniki Fair, εκτός από τις αίθουσες τέχνης που θα συμμετέχουν, έχει καθιερώσει τον θεσμό του τιμώμενου καλλιτέχνη, ένα εκτενές παράλληλο πρόγραμμα, που περιλαμβάνει talks, projects και μουσικά δρώμενα, εκθέσεις σημαντικών συλλογών συλλεκτών, ενότητες αφιερωμένες στο Design και την Εικονική πραγματικότητα. Κάθε Παρασκευή η έκθεση υποδέχεται και ξεναγεί μαθητές γυμνασίων και λυκείων, με στόχο την ενημέρωση και προβολή του πολιτισμού στη νέα γενιά.
Για πρώτη φορά ξεκινά η καθιέρωση 1ουβραβείου και 2 δεύτερων μετά την επιλογή τους από επιτροπή, 15 νέων δημιουργών ως 34 ετών που θα εκθέσουν την δουλειά τους δωρεάν σε ατομικά περίπτερα.
Έχουν γίνει συνεργασίες με το MOMus, το Διεθνές Φεστιβάλ Κινηματογράφου Θεσσαλονίκης και με άλλους φορείς της πόλης.
Σημαντική είναι η συμβολή της Επιτροπής Υποστήριξης, αποτελούμενη από σημαντικές προσωπικότητες για την ενδυνάμωση και προβολή της Art Thessaloniki Fair.
Το πρόγραμμα των παράλληλων εκδηλώσεων και εκθέσεων θα ανακοινώνεται σταδιακά.
