Curriculum Vitae

Athina Tsirika graduated from the School of Fine Arts of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She exhibited her work extensively in Greece and abroad, including Vienna, Milan, and Montreal, Canada. She is a member of the Chamber of Fine Arts of Greece, the Association of Visual Arts of Northern Greece, the Association of Fine Arts graduates, and the Association of Fine Arts. She lives and works in Kilkis, Central Macedonia, Greece.
Athina T. talks to Klimt, Picasso, Leonardo da Vinci and Chagall, her reference artists. . Its shapes are peculiar and they are not follow the concealed meanings. Dear Mrs. Athina Tsirika, we are pleased to inform you that the Florence Biennale International Selection Committee examined your artistic work and curriculum, and expressed its favourable opinion about your participation in the forthcoming edition of the International contemporary art biennial of Florence.

The XIIth Florence Biennale, which will take place at the Fortezza da Basso (Florence, Italy), from 18 to 27 October 2019, will engage participating artists and visitors in a rich programme of artistic and cultural activities.

Aside from the main exhibition, there will be collateral events, performances, workshops, conferences, and lectures relating to the theme of the new edition, which is related to the 500th Anniversary of Leonardo da Vinci’s death: Ars et Ingenium – Toward Leonardo da Vinci’s Legacy of Similitude and Invention Each participating artist will have a dedicated page in the Official Catalogue of the XIIth Florence Biennale and will compete for the “Lorenzo il Magnifico” International Award, conferred by an International Jury, as well as for Artist Residencies and other Special Awards
