MYSTIC OUTPOURINGS by Dr Satish K Kapoor

DEATH

No one dies.
The tiny wave
On primeval waters
Of  life,
Rests when exhausted.

Spark returns to Furnace;
Matter merges in Matter;
Mind in the Mind;
Life remains alive
Death remains dead.

Like the decrepit stuff
In some crucible
For recasting,
Mortal remains
Move onto Cosmic factory.

Like leaves that fall
In the lap of the Mother Earth,
Existence returns to Existence
To become existent again
In a new form.

Man is a drop-
An ocean in miniatutre.
The drop survives death
By becoming
Ocean itself

COSMIC EXPERIENCE

My skin can see.
My eyes can think.
My ears can blink.
My nose can eat.
My tongue can walk.
The unusual happens,
When I enter my Astral Self
In Samadhi.

I can see the past.
I can step into the future,
And beyond.
I trespass time,
And space,
Light and sound.
When my spirit is unbound
In Samadhi.

THE VOICE WITHIN

When I see
A poor man starving,
A child in tatters,
An orphan in tears,
An accident on road,
The voice within says,
Go and help.

When I tell a lie,
Fool a person,
Brag and boast,
Fly on the wings
Of  lust or greed.
The voice within says,
Stop.

When the mind is
Crazy or turbulent,
And senses crave
For more and more;
When the heart loses its way,
The voice within says:
Be aware.

When hope is lost
And I lose direction,
When kith and kin betray,
And waves of sorrow sway,
The voice within says,
Earnestly pray,
And seek His grace.
