MADE OF LIGHT

From the planet of light, the mysterious hand
brought me into this unknown world,
the tranquility of the fields of dreams remained behind me
and gentleness that blooms with wide vistas.

Areas of peace and smiles remained
where all is love and soul meets soul,
where kindness lights up the whole sky,
and the air shimmers with a wondrous glow.

I came into this unknown world
and can not understand what’s going on here
senseless divisions between people
conflicts and wars, while peace rests somewhere far away.

A song bewitched by beauty calls me
where reason and love reign in the heart,
and I am all made of longing and desire
I return again to my distant sun.

GORDANA SARIĆ from MONTENEGRO

I WOULD LIKE SOMEONE TO LOVE ME
TONIGHT

I so would like someone to love me tonight
when stars are lit instead of candles
When wine is drunk by moonlight
and the tenderness grows bigger and bigger.

I would like someone’s warm hands
Passionately around my shoulders,
to forget everything around me
and to lose myself in some magical eyes.

Music plays and calls for love,
longing carries me with rapturous sounds,
I give in to the desire of this night
and the desire to have me in someone’s heart.
I so would like someone to love me,

love is what I need, the smell of bloom on the pillows,
gentle words to weave a wreath of dreams,
I need the warmth of a star’s embrace.
