Nikollë Loka: “The Magnet of the Soul”

Επιμέλεια: Εύα Πετροπούλου Λιανού

A wave of your soul
was burned by thirst,
and that fire
turned the sky blue.
I have turned into a stone
that waits for the next wave,
to wash away the passion
or for the passion to wash me away.
In the mirror of time
you embroider the blue.
From my stone,
a violet water drop,
and the blue blood
you mention so many times,
I feel
how it drips among the seas.
That blueness
settles beneath the skin;
the heart drowns in the lake.
In seven springs
that rise from the same rock,
my soul whispers your name.
And your sky
remained just a cloud,
a magic in your eyes,
a mirror.
My magnetic soul
that draws you near,
your magnetic soul
that only repels me.

An Old Piano

A vibration of the soul inside you,
the words
are turned into feelings,
another world is born.
In the pentagrams, there are foams,
rose pollen,
eternity’s steps and worries.
My son in your eyes,
light sparks seven dreams
and seven wishes together,
the unspoken in musical notes,
translated into songs.
The poetry,
written in another sky,
comes on wind-blown pentagrams,
and my old piano,
put behind a door,
is gifting you music without words…
Sing that poetry then,
or throw it into the fire!
Touch my soul – and revive me!

The Sadness in the rain

Grey clouds
laden with sorrow,
take place
in my sadness.
Some raindrops,
thrown from one hand without fuss,
grow old on your braid.
I see you
and release the sadness from myself,
how easily sadness dissolves in water!
Two teardrops
hang from the eyelashes
and make me feel like a stranger.
I’m tired of trying to escape
this deadly rain,
and like an unfortunate,
barren road.
He sees no hope
through tears,
it neither love
nor hate.
And I drowned
in my rain,
on your braid
taking water.
The streams of time
blow through my mind,
when will they come,
tell me!
