I nаmed my son Mihajlo
to extend the Nemanjić lineage,
to protect the heavenly people,
to introduce our faith into the ninth century.
Eight centuries through terrible storms,
We carry the flame of freedom,
sheltering it from the forces of the unholy
and we brought purity here to the Holy Mountain.
I arrived on the day of the Holy Archangel’s,
of the ninth month to know the ranks of angels,
to introduce my Mihajlo to Sava
and prayers Gospel hugs.
I made a promise to my son to restore the Beshenovac spring,
to raise the monastery from the ashes,
to point out a cross with a red scarf on it,
that the pogrom of the people will never happen again.
Let your wisdom gather in the house of God,
to enlighten the people with the Holy Spirit,
for the shepheders to disperse in the Orthodox country
and the fire of divine love spreads.
Let the mothers bring their daughters to the spring,
that with a washed heart they may sing,
to give birth to divine sons.
Let the angel’s eyes rest,
on the beauty of Fruška gora
and continue on the path of the all – seeing God.
