Enlightenment is not a lamp in a temple
It is the lamp that becomes the temple
It is not _knowledge gathered like books_,
It is wisdom lived like breath
Enlightenment is when darkness inside us
like fog lifts,
and we see the world clear as water
and we see ourselves true as mirror
It does not come _like thunder_.
It comes _soft as sunrise_ —
first a line of light,
then a flood,
then the whole sky awake.
It is when a child in Baraut asks _“Why?”_
and does not settle for _“Because.”_
It is when a teacher in Christu Jyothi says “Think
before saying Remember.”
Enlightenment is roots of love going deep,
and branches of reason going wide.
It is compassion strong as steel
and humility soft as hand
It burns no one.
It warms everyone.
It builds no walls.
It opens every door.
The enlightened mind is a garden, not a fortress
It welcomes questions like guest
It lets go of pride like dry leaves
It bears fruit for others to eat
Science without heart is blind.
Faith without reason is asleep.
Enlightenment holds both hands
and walks humanity forward.
So let us not chase light outside.
Let us become light inside
Let us read, reflect, serve, forgive, and grow.
Let us turn every classroom into a sunrise,
every home into a prayer
every act into a blessing
For when one mind awakens,
a family awakens.
When one school awakens,
a city awakens.
When one nation awakens,
the world remembers:
We were never meant to live in the dark
Enlightenment is not the end.
It is the beginning
of seeing, of loving, of becoming.
For light. For learning. For Bharat. For the World.
