A Lifetime of Bloom

Dear one
No joy lasts a thousand days
No flower stays red a hundred mornings
Even the peony of heavenly beauty
will one day fall

Life is like a flower
To live happily in each moment
is the most beautiful bloom
To cherish every single day
your whole life is a season of flowers

Dear one
Some have left
yet live forever in hearts
Some seem alive
but their souls are long gone

The real departure
is not the end of the body
but giving up on yourself
and drifting through life

A dead heart cannot be woken
One who abandons self cannot be saved

Only by striving without cease
consciousness lives on
soul never dies
and love remains eternal

Dear one
To see through the impermanence of life
is to understand the greatest truth——
Live in the moment
Cherish the moment
Savor the moment
Bless the moment
Grateful for the moment

One moment well-lived
is a lifetime of bloom
One heart at peace
is eternity itself
