The Footprints of the Moon

Kim Goni

Follow the footprints engraved on the hillside

The night when even hungry snowflakes cried
The beast that trudged back to the mountain
fills the belly with footprints

A hunger that cannot be satisfied
even with the tears of the stars

Staggering Cold Ankles

The owner of the footprints is probably the moon

The thin moon returned to the sky,
carrying the beast that had turned into snowflakes
