Inconsolable

We are inconsolable and do not forgive your sons and daughters for murdering ours. We do not forgive your bullet holes piercing our united and collective heart, soul and every waking moment. We do not listen to the tongues of liars. They tell us to not forgive is to carry the weight of those doing the murders. They tell us our unforgiving will only hurt us. Liars with turned heads unwilling to acknowledge the deaths our hearts carry. Liars unwilling to hear our sobs.

We tell them we will never bless nor honor them nor their evil sons and daughters with our forgiveness. Our forgiveness will not return our missing nor our blood. We will never forgive centuries old trauma. Nor silence the moans and mourning of Black mothers empty wombs. Nor extinguish the fire living in our screams. Nor believe previously raped promises of safety and freedom. We tell them, we are warriors. Warriors do not forgive nor do we forget! We choose never to free them from the fear of our justified, sacred and holy revenge.

We watch counting the mounting curses their descendants inherit. We will never rest until all have perished and return to the bowels of Hell. We curse their unholy appropriated god image. The one having no mercy. The god whose words their bullets mock. The image fed my ancestors in bondage and the earthly heaven they enjoy. The heaven promised me only as a reward in  death.
