Greece
Greece floats on the surface of the great sea

Like a shining moon

Greece visits the world

dispenser of wisdom

With the blooming flowers of democracy

Greece is a country without borders

For all the peoples of the earth enjoy

By the torrents and rivers of the ideas of its great philosophers.

Greece never colonized people

But she did it constantly

Transmitting the light of knowledge and culture

For all the peoples of the world

Greece… my beloved country
To you, my beloved country, Greece, I sing

To you, my soul, I offer

My feelings of admiration, for your exciting legendary history

You are my azure dream,

who accompanies me in my life.

My sight travels far with you

Roaming in your charming sea

I dedicate this song of the wind,

To the gulls of the Aegean Sea.

With you, my beloved,

I travel on the long journey of my life

Singing an anthem of your dazzling beauty.

Thank you dear Honorable poetess Eva PetropoulounLianou for the invitation
