Those solitary days are still uncovered —
The long days lost in distance,
The afternoons of aimless wandering.
How lonely the sun had been!
Broken tears lie scattered along every path.
Shall I ever cross that crimson bridge,
Woven from the breathing of the wind?
Ah, what an astonishing weight of steps!
The voice and the chariot rider fade away.
In the fields lie countless torn moons.
When will Perseus return,
Bearing the severed head of Medusa?
And to become immortal,
The monster will turn to stone.
Those humble, pain-stricken days,
Those death-crushed, sorrowful days—
How shall I hide myself
Beneath the hooves of horses?

The girl tried with all her strength to return home
Just before the downpour.
She ran with her soul on fire
But the rain reached long before her
All the stairways are shrouded in monsoon mist
Thunder lashes at doors and windows
A wartime siren wails through the air.
The girl knocks on every closed door
A pale teardrop
Wandering in the darkness.
Disobedient clouds swim in her eyes.
She crawls toward the window
But the chilling wind
Drags her back again and again
How can she escape
The dark ring of the air force
Rain is sometimes a spider’s web
Sometimes a distant beach
Smoke rises from the nostrils of houses
The razor-blade of rain
Scrapes away her silent plea to return.
The breath of the gusting wind
Distorts the streams of the river
Like a tragic soundtrack from a film
The girl slowly drowns,

Rezauddin Stalin Bengali
very famous poet.Born in 1962 in Nalbhanga village of Greater Jessore district.
