Back through the heart
the collection of images
sharp, colorful, or disjointed and vaporous
or unconnected and vaporous
like fragments of a dark crystal
scattered across a fragile plain.
Pass through the heart again
the touch that once fell dark in your hand
the smell of a flower squeezed on your skin
the slow voice that hastened your thirst
and the taste of a prayer that burned
on your tongue.
Return
to repeat itself like an infinite river.
You never knew if she loved the storm
In the gloom awaited the purity of the din
the advent of the muse shrouded in mists
at that exact hour
in the middle of the opening of the thousand petals
of that elusive and strange flower.
She, the one you still remember
when you hear the thunder.
You never knew
if she loved the storm
or was only hostage to its ferocity.
She, the one who believed that she would only leave her shadow
and a faint distant tremor
but left the fire of her words
that burn
and light up the night,
every night.
