Lan Xin’s Phoenix Nirvana: Let Eastern Wisdom Dialogue with World Civilizations
Every chapter of life’s trials quietly gathers the radiance inherent within the soul.
The world first knew Lan Xin as a writer. She left Hunan to study in Beijing, exploring culture and writing about spiritual growth. Her words guide countless readers out of darkness, confusion and distress.
Fate brought her over mountains to Lijiang. A spiritual awakening opened a new chapter of her life.
She discovered the ancient Naxi Dongba culture and learned from the 17th-generation Dongba inheritor Aheng Dongta. Breaking the millennium-old rule “passed inside the clan, not to outsiders; passed to sons, not daughters”, she became a female inheritor of Dongba culture. Since then, Lan Xin strives to guard, inherit, spread and promote this ancient civilization on the UNESCO Memory of the World Register.
Years of tempering turned the writer Lan Xin into a messenger with profound cultural missions.
Through reflection and pursuit, she found two life missions.
First, to spread the wisdom of love. Many worldly troubles come from the lack of love and wisdom. This wisdom heals our inner world and brings goodness to others.
Second, to protect Dongba culture, a UNESCO Memory of the World heritage, carry forward ancient Chinese cultural treasures and share them with the globe.
As she keeps walking on this mission path, remarkable achievements follow.
Lan Xin is an internationally published writer, poet, translator and psychologist. She serves as president of Lan Xin Sami Academy and Yulong Wenbi Dongba Culture Academy, and Lifetime Honorary Fellow of Rome International Academy, Italy.
She has won many global honors: Global Outstanding Contribution Award, World Peace Diamond Torch Award, World Four-Leaf Clover Peace Literature Award, European Excellence Award, Italy Francesco Giampietri International Literature Prize, Lebanon Naji Naaman International Literary Prize, Bulgaria “Boundless Love” International Poetry Festival “Messenger of Light”, New Zealand National Poetry Day “Cultural Ambassador”, World Writers Association China Region “Literature and Cultural Ambassador”. She judges for Literature Asia International Literary Competition and many other international events.
Her works are translated into English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Arabic and more. Her original “Lan Xin Wisdom Words” has over 100 million readers worldwide. She shares traditional Chinese culture and Eastern philosophy, praised as “Messenger of Great Love”, “Cultural Envoy between East and West”, “Multicultural Integrator”, “Guide for Contemporary Women”, “Goddess of Wisdom”. She sets an example for Chinese culture going global.

After seven years of careful writing and revision, You Will Eventually Shine Bright is finished. Distinguished guests from all walks of life gathered at the venue, while overseas writers sent blessings via online video.
