Let the walls of borders fall, let the wind of words blow.
Poetry extends its hand, and unites the world.॥

The languages may be different, but the feeling is one.
In this gathering of poetry, heart unites with heart.॥

Poetry unites, it breaks no bond,
From Greece to India, it ties the verses of love.
It ties the verses of love, it erases every difference,
In the Ganga of intimacy, every wound is bathed.
There is honey in every word, friendship in every emotion,
Poetry unites, this is the eternal law.॥

With the thread of intimacy, it sings the hymn of brotherhood.
With the lamp of kindness, it dispels the darkness.॥
It sows love and harmony, it makes the world one.
Poetry is that power, which brings the distant close.॥

Though we have never met, yet this bond exists.
On the pages of poetry, every bond is written.
Where love, brotherhood and harmony reside,
There, in words, the divine prayer becomes visible.॥
