The Rose That Refused to Apologize for Its Thorns
Written by -Priyanka Jalan

I am a rose,
born in the quiet soil of light and shadow,
wearing my fragrance like an unseen promise
the world cannot easily ignore.

They come for my scent—
a soft poem drifting through the air,
but they turn away the moment
their touch meets my truth: thorns.

No one bows to the storm within beauty,
only to the beauty that hides the storm.

Yet I remain—
not begging to be accepted whole,
but reminding the world:

love that only seeks sweetness
must one day learn
to respect what protects it.

Twin Flame Journey: Between Light and Shadow
Written by -Priyanka Jalan

In silent skies where twin souls bend,
time breaks apart, yet does not end;
a hidden flame in darkness grows—
half is sorrow, half still glows.

You are the “yes” I never spoke,
a distant dream the silence broke;
yet also pain that lingers near,
a love that stays through every tear.

We meet in fire, we part in rain,
a sacred dance of joy and pain;
your name—my calm, my restless storm,
a heart that breaks yet stays reborn.

Still I rise from fractured night,
drawn to your fading, endless light;
bittersweet, this cosmic design—
you are in me, yet not all mine.

Through chaos, truth begins to show:
even broken stars still glow;
they teach the sky to burn, to stay—
and find each other on the way.
