Since it is a matter of faith
No eye brow shall I raise
When home delivery is possible
Why this physical craze?
They are ethereal entities
And we,
The earthly crowd
Wrapped in our mortal shroud.
Rather than we turning ethereal
And lose this earthly form
We want to see our gods
In human uniform
They lived on hills, in peace
Choreographing the cosmic dance
But we take crowds to the hills
Breaking their trance.
VIEWER-CENTRICISM by Jernail S Aanand
I often wonder at the
Fate of actors
Who are performing live
And those performing dead.
When you are at the stage,
Viewers leave everything aside
And come,
Only to listen to you.
You perform looking into their eyes
What a communication!
How they respond with gestures
Of joy and elevation!
It is when the game is actor-centric
But once the game changes
And it is relayed online
It becomes viewer-centric.
Both must be equally involved
For the sake of artistic permanence
Viewer-centricism makes a body dance
Of a great performance.
Bio: Dr. Jernail Singh Anand, with an opus of 180 plus books, is Laureate of the Seneca, Charter of Morava, Franz Kafka and Maxim Gorky awards. His name adorns the Poets’ Rock in Serbia. Anand is a towering literary figure whose work embodies a rare fusion of creativity, intellect, and moral vision. He’s not just an Indian author but a global voice, challenging readers to confront the complexities of existence while offering hope through art and ethics. If Tagore is the serene sage of a colonial past, Anand is the fiery prophet of a chaotic present. Recently he dedicated hos collection of 12 epics Epicacia Vol 1 and Vol 2 to Serbia and Dr Maja Herman Sekulic.
