Παρουσίαση του Ιάπωνα ερευνητή/συγγραφέα/φωτογράφου Masashi Nakamura, ο οποίος συμμετέχει στην έκθεση “Προλεγόμενες, Ιστορίες που ντύθηκε το Σώμα” στο Αρχαιολογικό Μουσείο Θεσσαλονίκης 25/09-15/11/2020.

Ιάπωνας φωτογράφος, ερευνητής και συγγραφέας έργων για την ιαπωνική κουλτούρα. Είναι ιδρυτής του «Ιαπωνικού Κώδικα» (η δομική φιλοσοφία του ιαπωνικού πνευματικού πολιτισμού) και Γενικός Διευθυντής του RJS (Research Center for Japanese Culture Structural Studies).
Ως ακαδημαϊκός σύμβουλος ασχολείται με θέματα που αφορούν σε ιστορικούς ορεινούς ναούς της Ιαπωνίας, ενώ είναι αποφασιστική η συμβολή του στην έκδοση “Official Qualification and Cultural Tourism Magazine about Kyoto”.

Ο κ. Μασάσι Νακαμούρα εργάζεται ακούραστα για την ανάδειξη του Ιαπωνικού Πολιτισμού και την προώθηση του σε όλον τον κόσμο. Με έναν ασυγκράτητο ενθουσιασμό, κατάφερε μέσα σε λίγα χρόνια, να συγκεντρώσει με τις εκδόσεις και τις εκθέσεις που διοργανώνει μεσω του R.J.S (Research Center for Japanese Cultural Structural Studies) διακεκριμένους καλλιτέχνες, ποιητές, καλλιγράφους, ζωγράφους sumi e, haiga, φωτογράφους και ερευνητές από όλο τον κόσμο.
Τον περασμένο Απρίλιο, εν μέσω παγκόσμιου lockdown, κατάφερε να πραγματοποιήσει μία μοναδική έκθεση στο ναό Hougonji Temple, στα βουνά του Κυότο, με αναφορά το βιβλίο “Lafcadio in Japan Code, Seeking a lost Spiritual Period”. Στην έκθεση αυτή συμμετείχαν πολλοί καλλιτέχνες από όλο τον κόσμο και η εικαστικός Μαρία Παπατζέλου από την Ελλάδα με πρόσφατα εργα της και το Washi Κιμονό της “Δευτέρο Δέρμα”. Η Έκθεση ηταν επετειακή, αφιερωμένη στα 170 χρόνια από την γέννηση του Λευκαδιο Χερν, το ανοιχτό πνεύμα του οποίου τον οδηγεί και τον εμπνέει.
Ο κ. Nakamura εχει εκδόσει εως τώρα 4 βιβλία: τον “Ιαπωνικό Κώδικα” στα ιαπωνικά “日本文化 自然の構造 “, συμμετείχε στην έκδοση του τρίγλωσσου (Ελληνικά/Αγγλικά/Ισπανικά) “Luz Del Mes Trianthology ” (2019, 2020) όπου συνεργάστηκε με την κ. Maritza M. Mejia, το”Inner Connections of the Liquid Sky ” το οποίο γράψανε μαζί με την κ.Μ.Παπατζέλου και το τελευταίο του βιβλίο είναι το “Lafcadio in Japan Code … Seeking a lost Spiritual Period … ” το οποίο περιέχει κείμενα και έργα από 16 καλλιτέχνες και συγγραφείς από όλον τον κοσμο.
Στο τελευταίο βιβλίο του, συμμετέχουν με κείμενά τους ο Everett Kennedy Brown και συμπεριλαμβάνεται το βιβλίο “Inner Connections of the Liquid Sky, a Poetic Dialogue Between Philosophy and Mythology of Japan” με 43 Χαϊκού , και αναφορά στον Ιαπωνικό μύθο Kojiki, το οποίο συγγράψανε με την Μ. Παπατζέλου καθώς επίσης και τη συλλογή βραβευμένων Χαϊκού, του Διεθνούς δαγωνισμού ποίησης Χαϊκού αφιερωμένη στον Λευκάδιο Χερν που διοργάνωσε το 2019, όπου τα βραβευμένα Χαϊκού εικονογραφηθηκαν ως Χαιγκα από τον διάσημο ζωγράφο χαιγκα, καθηγητή κ.Ion Codrescu .
Όλα τα βιβλία του, παρουσιάζονται και προτείνονται από την Βιβλιοθήκη του Κυότο και την ιστορική Βιβλιοθήκη Hiiragiya.
Ο Masashi Nakamura εργάζεται εντατικά μέσα από γόνιμες συνεργασίες, προωθώντας το πνεύμα του Ιαπωνικού Πολιτισμού παγκοσμίως, με όραμα έναν κόσμο ειρηνικό, όπου οι άνθρωποι σε αρμονία με τη Φύση θα καταφέρουν να συνδεθούν μεταξύ τους , με το πνεύμα Ισότητας, Αρμονίας και Ειρήνης να γίνεται η γέφυρα που συνδέει το παρελθόν με το μέλλον.
Masashi Nakamura is a Japanese photographer, author and Japanese culture researcher. He is the author of The Japan Code – The Structural Philosophy of Japanese Spiritual Culture, and is the Director General of The Research Center for Japanese Culture Structural Studies (RJS). He lives and works in Kyoto, Japan.
An academic advisor, Nakamura’s expertise is related to historical mountain temples in Japan. He is also a contributing writer for Official Qualification and Cultural Tourism Magazine about Kyoto.
Nakamura works tirelessly to promote the understanding of Japanese Culture around the world. Through his unbridled enthusiasm, he managed within a few years to gather distinguished artists, poets, calligraphers, sumi e/ haiga painters, photographers and researchers from all over the world with his publications and exhibitions that RJS organized.
Amid a global lockdown last April, he managed to hold a unique exhibition of participating artists from all over the world at the Hougonji Temple in the mountains of Kyoto, in connection with the exhibition catalogue book he wrote, Lafcadio in Japan Code – Seeking a Lost Spiritual Period, which unites the entire philosophy of Japanese Culture. The exhibition was dedicated to the 170th anniversary of Lafcadio Hearn’s birth, a man whose open spirit guides and inspires him. One of the participants was the Greek Artist Maria Papatzelou, presenting with her recent works and her Washi Kimono, “Second Skin.”
His latest book co-written with Maria Papatzelou, Inner Connections of the Liquid Sky – A Poetic Dialogue Between Philosophy and Mythology of Japan, with 43 Haiku tranlated in Japanese by him, reference to the Japanese Myth The Kojiki, the oldest book in Japanese history. This book is also including, to the book catalogue “Lafcadio in Japan Code…Seeking a lost Spiritual Period” along with the prize-winning Haiku of the International Haiku Competition he organized in 2019, a competition dedicated to Lafcadio Hearn, in which each winner was awarded their Haiku presented as a Haiga by the famous Romanian Painter and Professor Ion Codrescu.

All of Nakamura’s books are presented and suggested by the Kyoto Library and the Hiiragiya English library salon.
Nakamura works intensively through global collaborations, promoting the spirit of Japanese culture worldwide to spread his vision of a peaceful world in which people would relate and connect with each other and in harmony with nature, guided by the spirit of equality, harmony and peace, becoming a bridge uniting the past with the future.
