Alam Mahbub: Three poems about friendship
A Friend by Alam Mahbub
A friend is not just a friend —
A mesmerizing craft of shared hearts
Houses illuminated with boundless love.
Sunny sweet dreams, forever close bonds.
A friend is not just a friend —
Friendship means civilization,
Friendship means the end of violence.
People’s unity and peace in the country and in the whole world win.
Friends means holding hands and singing hearts
And moving forward by dreaming of truth
And beauty..
If there is a friend, there is no enemy in the richness of the heart.
Friendship by Alam Mahbub
As the earth is illuminated by the light of the sun
Be so awakened in friendship and humanity
May people win in generous friendship,
May it be good.
True friendship has love, none is elder or little
Build a world of peace with the faith of the heart
Come on people raising your hands
Friendship can break down the walls of boundaries.
Friendship is a source of motivation
Let the discrimination just disappear,
And let the friendship rise in immortality.
May friendship arise in the universe
See friendship as a member of love.
O’ my friend – if you love me
Than I am good
You are my happiness bird
And hold it in your heart with love.
When friends are by my side
A tide of love comes to mind
How many smiles and how many songs
Arise in the joy of love.
All the way across your path
I stand only alone.
O’ my friend, your shadow is in these eyes
How many dreams hope in the chest
It blossoms into a bud every day in the depths of the mind
I don’t know what the trick is, my friend
I call you again and again.
